The Equity Capital Markets (ECM) group is responsible for originating and executing public and private equity and equity-linked offerings in partnership with the investment banking coverage teams. At Guggenheim, the ECM team is focused on public equity transactions, including Initial Public Offerings, Follow-on Offerings, Confidentially Marketed Public Offerings, Registered Directs, and PIPEs as well as SPACs, equity-linked products and private placements for privately-held companies. Members of the ECM team work with corporate clients to identify capital needs and determine the optimal structure and execution strategy to best meet the issuer’s objectives.

The Guggenheim Partners Investment Banking unit is seeking candidates to join its Equity Capital Markets team in the New York office. Guggenheim offers an unparalleled opportunity to work as part of small client teams on a variety of capital markets/corporate finance assignments, providing meaningful exposure to senior bankers and client executives. We are seeking bright, highly motivated individuals with a strong interest in equity and equity-linked capital markets, coupled with strong excel and modeling skills.

Essential Job Functions

  • Analyze industry and company-specific information, including detailed research and analysis of financial statements.
  • Work directly with the group’s senior professionals and be involved with all aspects of ECM transactions.
  • Create marketing materials across all ECM product types.
  • Analyze industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Prepare client presentations and interact with senior bankers, clients, lawyers and accountants.
  • Involvement in all aspects of deal preparation and execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in macro-economic market trends and themes.
  • Significant level of maturity and the ability to work as a part of a small team with top company executives and senior management.
  • Highly organized, with the initiative and ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Extensive familiarity with MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and MS Word. Familiarity with Thomson/Factset and Bloomberg a plus.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be on track to receive a Bachelor’s degree in December 2026 or Spring 2027

Salary Details

  • A salary based on an annual rate of $110,000 per year

The base salary amount represents the anticipated salary for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The salary listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
