2026 Capital Markets Advisory: Equity Capital Markets Summer Analyst Program – New York

Evercore seeks to hire an investment banking Summer Analyst for the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team in the New York, NY office.

The Evercore Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week program designed to provide highly motivated undergraduates with a representative experience in strategic capital markets advisory. The Program seeks intelligent, mature individuals with the desire and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and learn on the job.

What Are We Looking For?

Evercore’s ECM practice is populated with professionals who are the top strategic capital markets advisors in their respective industries, with deep relationships and significant experience in their corresponding sectors. Deal teams at Evercore are typically small and, as such, junior bankers have significant, direct exposure to and interaction with partners, clients and other senior professionals. Junior bankers also serve critical roles across the lifecycle of a deal including pitching, structuring and execution.

The group is led by Kristy Grippi, previously Head of Industrials ECM and Equity Syndicate at Goldman Sachs, along with five other Senior Managing Directors and four Managing Directors who have significant capital markets experience leading ECM origination and syndicate teams at bulge bracket firms.

As a core part of our growing team, our focus will be both on incorporating the right professional with complementary skills to the team and mentoring that person’s development in what will likely be a number of new skill-sets. Ideal candidates should be attracted to the capital markets, have an ability to work across products, sectors and roles and possess an interest in gaining experience in capital markets advisory. Candidates should be self-starters looking to help build a fast-growing equity franchise within Evercore.

What Will You Be Working On?

While traditional equities products (IPOs, follow-ons, private placements, convertible securities, etc.) are an integral part of our value proposition, capital markets advisory around M&A, dual-track processes, spin-offs, SPACs and merger structuring is equally critical.

Evercore has recently served as a bookrunner on some of the largest and most prominent transactions in the U.S., including IPOs for Lineage, Amer Sports, Waystar, and Life360, as well as follow-ons for Diamondback Energy, GE Healthcare, Lithium Americas, and GlobalFoundries.
