LCG Advisors works with privately held, middle-market businesses, on engagements related to mergers & acquisitions and capital formation. Most of our clients tend to be founder or family owned, but our debt capital clients tend to be institutional in nature, though still privately held. LCG Advisors is seeking a part-time candidate to fill an Intern position within the firm’s Investment Banking division. The Intern will play a critical role in day-to-day deal execution activities focused on mergers and acquisitions, capital formation and corporate finance advisory.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Transaction Support: Aid in executing transactions by preparing documentation, coordinating with internal and external parties, and tracking deal progress.
- Financial Analysis: Assist in conducting financial statement analysis, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to support investment decisions.
- Data Compilation: Gather and organize data from various sources to create comprehensive financial models and reports.
- Pitch Preparation: Support the team in preparing pitch books, presentations, and client proposals.
- Valuation Modeling: Assist in building and updating valuation models such as discounted cash flow, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions analysis.
- Due Diligence: Assist in due diligence processes by reviewing legal documents, financial records, and other relevant information.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing files.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Seniors pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other relevant fields,
- Master's in business administration (MBA), Master's in accounting (MAcc), or Master's in Finance
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word,
- Genuine interest in investment banking and working with middle-market clients.
- Located within commuting distance of a core IB office or have the ability to live locally during the term of internship. In certain situations, we will consider a hybrid structure that splits time between a core office and remote work.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask across various workstreams with limited supervision.

- Genuine intellectual curiosity as it relates to business and finance, preferred
- Comfort with financial modeling and more than basic excel skills, preferred
Pay Range:
$15 - $18/hour
