2026 Investment Banking Summer Analyst*** Application closes Friday, January 24 at 5 p.m. ET.

Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) is currently seeking undergraduate candidates for our 2026 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program. This is a 9-week internship program based in our Chicago and Cleveland Offices. BGL Summer Analysts will have the opportunity to learn directly from junior and senior bankers about basic analysis of companies, how to conduct research, creating financial models and how to put a pitch deck together.  

The Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program at BGL offers interns the opportunity for personal and professional growth for an individual with good interpersonal skills, exceptional organization, and sincere pride in their work.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on public and private companies across various industries
  • Support the development of valuation models and analyses
  • Assist in performing detailed due diligence
  • Learn how to conduct financial modeling
  • Contribute to the creation of pitch books for presentations
  • Interpret research and modeling results
  • Draw financial conclusions and report findings to the transaction team

Qualifications:

  • On track to graduate in Winter 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027
  • Outstanding academic record with strong cumulative GPA
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance or other relevant field  
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, investment principals, and basic accounting concepts
  • Involvement on campus including investment banking related clubs, organizations, case competitions, leadership roles, etc.
  • Previous internship experience within financial services preferred
  • Results-driven team player and cultural fit
  • Highly driven and motivated individual
  • Demonstrated commitment and superior work ethic
  • Excellent quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills

Full-time Salary Range

The salary range for this role is equal to $110,000 on an annual basis.

Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience and the location where this position may be filled.
